The BeoVision 1 was introduced around 1997 to replace the long-running MX series with a completely new design — a standalone CRT television with exceptional built-in active speakers considerably larger than those of the MX7000, and a motorised rotating base integrated directly into the cabinet. Unusually for a B&O television of this period, connections were intentionally minimal — the BeoVision 1 was conceived as a self-contained, high-quality standalone set rather than part of a wider integrated system. The dark blue finish is a rare colour option for this model, giving it a distinctive and sophisticated character that stands out considerably from the standard colourways.
Stunning image and picture quality. Motorised floor stand. Dark blue finish — rare. Some marks visible in listing images. Soft-touch coating is matting on this example — this can be addressed with care and cleaning. Rear cable cover is missing — noted in the condition section. Beo4 included. Large CRT — please measure before purchasing. Collection preferred.
