The BeoMaster 5 is the system's brain — a black box housing a 500GB hard drive, capable of storing thousands of albums at lossless quality. It connects to the BeoSound 5 via DVI and USB, integrates with MasterLink and PowerLink for use with existing B&O systems, and supports network music, internet radio, and UPnP streaming. The MOTS (More of the Same) algorithm creates intelligent, never-ending playlists based on the musical DNA of whatever you're playing — a remarkably ahead-of-its-time feature.
