Introduced in 2016, the BeoSound 35 is one of the most distinctive all-in-one music systems Bang & Olufsen has produced — a 1-metre-wide precision-milled aluminium body with a characteristic pentagonal cross-section, designed by Torsten Valeur at David Lewis Designers. It is fundamentally a self-contained stereo music system: built-in amplification, built-in streaming, built-in access to Spotify, Deezer, and TuneIn, all behind a single fabric-covered front and a touch-sensitive OLED control interface. The acoustic design is elegant. Two 4-inch woofers sit centrally where the pentagonal body is deepest, giving them the greatest internal volume for bass reproduction. Two 3/4-inch tweeters are positioned at the tapered ends, angled slightly outward to spread high-frequency detail evenly across a 180-degree soundstage. Each of the four driver units has its own dedicated 80W Class D amplifier — 320W in total — with Adaptive Bass Linearisation and room adaptation settings for wall, corner, or free-standing placement. The result is a room-filling, genuinely high-quality stereo system that looks nothing like a conventional speaker.
Cosmetic Notes — Please Read The rear cable management cover is missing on this unit. This does not affect function — all connections and ports are fully operational — but is worth noting for buyers who value a complete cosmetic finish. A slight mark is also present on the right edge of the aluminium body, which is not particularly noticeable in normal use. Please inspect all listing images carefully before purchasing. — This unit is fitted with the original aluminium table stand and is in very good used condition. The rear cable cover is missing (see notes above) and there is a slight mark on the right edge, but functionally the unit is fully operational across all inputs and wireless protocols. The table stand itself is clean and in excellent shape.
