The BeoGram 8500 is the BeoGram 9500 in a different suit: mechanically and electronically identical, but finished in flat grey to partner the BeoCenter 8500. That means the same late-generation tangential arm that holds the stylus at exactly the angle the master was cut, the same short, rigid arm that tangential tracking makes possible, and automatic record size and speed detection. Produced from 1989 to 1992 and never replaced when the BeoCenter 8500 was withdrawn, it is the less commonly seen sibling of the 9500. Output is line-level via DIN with no built-in RIAA stage, so a compatible B&O source or an external DIN phono stage is required. An MMC cartridge is required; none is included.
Fair condition. Marks on the dust cover and on the platter. There is a dent on the left front corner — purely cosmetic, and it looks worse in the close-up images than it does in person. Please inspect the images closely. No MMC cartridge included.
