BeoVox Cona (Passive Subwoofer) - Black
Pickup available at BeoVerse Showroom
Usually ready in 2-4 days
The Cona was B&O’s first subwoofer and remains one of David Lewis’s most quietly radical objects — a low cone with no visible driver, now held in the permanent collection at MoMA. It was built to partner the miniature BeoVox CX 50 and CX 100, restoring the bass those speakers lose when placement works against them. A single large drive unit is wound with a double voice coil so that left and right bass is summed magnetically inside the cabinet, which is why one Cona serves a whole installation. Entirely passive; no dedicated amplifier is required, though a reasonably powerful one gets the best from it.
An iconic subwoofer in good overall condition. Marks are present on the cabinet. Please inspect the images closely.
